I can't believe this went away, but younger stylists hate any product except hairspray, for that routine flattened down straight cut every style every time = no promoted sales. Flat is fine for some, me, I look like bubble head freak, need just a little lift in my life. I love this product, getting just the right fingertip measure to chunk and lift my fine hair, then sweep the sides back. It was light, clean. Years ago, after dealing with even the tiniest amount of heavy cream product for a chunky lift, would still end up greasy or flat or piling on hairspray to get all day the lift. Mousse never ever worked to get your pieced out and lifted look for years.
A squeeze tube is ineffective, it's always seemingly empty, then shaking it you'll get a huge chunk finally. Then everything has stuck on the side so you cut it to get the rest out. (Ladies, this product has never been cheap) vs throw away waste. Then, Mother Nature in her evilness for my work parking, at a premium a half+ block away from the employee entrance a lot that day. If it was windy, blizzard or raining. with those old days 3 products on, giving a glopping, odd stinking hairspray head. You couldn't even do a hood or umbrella (wind) - oh no you still had a mess flat mess that would never shake out with finger styling because it was stringy cement or pompadour like Ace Ventura, by that time. (that's a picture I never thought to take for a post review like this 😉)
